This course will give you and other managers the tools to identify and resolve problems in the workplace. Too often the symptoms of problems are dealt with but the actual causes of the problems remain unsolved only for the symptoms to reappear shortly after. This course will take you through the steps you must take to fully resolve a problem and ensure that it does not reappear later down the line.

- Introduction to the 7 Step Tool
- Problem Identification and Definition
- Problem Clarification (Pareto - Bar Charts and Histograms)
- Identify where the problem is happening (flow charts)
- Identifying direct causes (cause and effect diagrams)
- Identify and eliminate root causes (5 why process)
- Solution implementation process
- Solution confirmation and consolidation in work practices
